Patented Vacuum Technology Keeps Food Fresh Up to Five Times Longer as VAKUEN Expands Its Global Presence
Premium vacuum food storage brand VAKUEN has officially entered the Japanese market, marking a significant step in its global expansion.
MAKERVILLE, the company behind VAKUEN, announced on the 21st that it is operating a two-week pop-up store from May 20 through June 2 on the fifth floor of the main building at Mitsukoshi Ginza in Tokyo.
The pop-up was created to introduce VAKUEN's patented technology and refined design directly to Japanese consumers, while also serving as a strategic foothold for expanding the brand's global distribution network.
The event features VAKUEN's bestselling 'White Edition' alongside the Japan debut of its new 'Rose Edition,' a fresh and sophisticated colorway that has been drawing strong interest from visitors.
VAKUEN has introduced a new approach to food storage through its patented vacuum-sealing technology, which helps slow the oxidation and deterioration of ingredients.
Its dedicated vacuum device can be used for approximately two weeks on a single charge and, according to the company, helps keep food fresh for up to five times longer than conventional airtight containers.
"We are delighted to introduce VAKUEN's proven food-preservation technology and sustainable value in Ginza, at the heart of Tokyo," said Byungjun Jung, CEO of MAKERVILLE. "By listening directly to consumers and engaging with them through local exhibitions and retail spaces, we aim to continue growing VAKUEN into a globally recognized brand."
